ABOUT US
Helen Robson
Hi
I’m a professionally qualified and experienced coach and coach supervisor.
I set up Brightlight Coaching and Consulting and work one to one, as well as with teams, groups and whole organisations.
I’ve supported mums on their returns to work, at all levels in organisations.
And I’m a mummy. It took a while for me to become a parent and I feel very lucky.
When I’m at home in Somerset, I’m often found singing or keeping up with my very active toddler.
I founded The Bloom Project to ensure that there is access to expert information and support for organisations on pregnancy and returning to work post-maternity.
I recruit great people to work as part of Bloom. They are not only experts – they are also brilliant humans.
Dr Pippa Vickery
I finished my medical degree from Kings College London in 2003 and have been a GP for over 15 years.
As part of my GP training, I worked in hospitals in London, Weston Australia and Bristol, in a variety of specialist jobs including Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I have diplomas in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Child Health.
Alongside General Practice, I was an expedition medic, before the birth of my daughter. This took me across the globe to countries including Uganda, Jordan, India, China, Nepal, Iran and Turkmenistan. Now I can be found doing mini adventures with my family in the challenging terrain of Somerset until my daughter is old enough to take further afield.

How we work
We are a team. Each of us has experienced women’s health issues differently in our lives and in our work. And we want to share these experiences with you.
We don’t assume we know how it is for you. We use our expertise to provide knowledge in a group setting, talking frankly and honestly and answering your questions.
We go into your workplace and talk to men and women about what happens during pregnancy and afterwards: How important it is that there is understanding about why a woman may act differently, what they have been through and what they are also juggling in their life on top of work.
No two women are the same – so why would two organisations be the same? We tailor our approach in line with who you are as an organisation.
Essentially, it is about education on women’s health and how it can be affected by the workplace or how it can affect the workplace and what can be done to support this workforce.
Who are we and what qualifies us to do this work?
We are an executive coach, a GP, and a health and fitness expert specialising in women’s health.
We are all qualified in what we do. And we are all passionate about The Bloom Project.
